Technology in Classical Education
While classical education often minimizes the role of technology, we believe there is a purposeful and balanced approach to integrating technology into learning. At our school, we equip students with essential digital skills while maintaining a structured, distraction-free environment.
Our Approach to Technology
We prioritize intentional and educational technology use, ensuring that students develop the digital skills necessary for research, writing, and safe online navigation. However, we do not allow unrestricted access to personal devices, social media, or non-academic internet use.

What Students Will Learn:
✅ Typing Skills – Proper keyboarding techniques for speed and accuracy
✅ Safe Internet Searching – Learning how to navigate online resources responsibly
✅ Research & Citation – How to find credible sources, cite properly, and avoid plagiarism
✅ Structured Digital Learning – Using technology as a tool for academic growth, not entertainment
What We Do NOT Allow:
🚫 Chromebooks, personal laptops, or personal smart devices
🚫 Student email addresses or school-based email accounts
🚫 Social media of any kind
🚫 Smart technology on campus (smartwatches, phones, etc.)
All technology lessons take place on school-provided computers in a controlled setting to ensure students develop skills without unnecessary distractions.
